TRIBUTE TO DR. PLAYER There is exhilaration in change- -the challenge of the untried- most by those who yet have world enough and time. -cherished The courage to be shut from what can be a dome more vast is shared only by frontier spirits who see time really as the dimensions of mind and what can be, measured by imagination, as world enough. Then and Now color all the fresh days of becoming, invigorating them with vividexperiencesandmakingwhatistobe a quickening to excellence yet unknown. The blossoming leader looks ahead, putting by ill-fitting goals, seeking new handicaps that overtop them all, and believing that only one whose reach exceeds her grasp can be fundamentally happy. Such a leader takes comfort in finding that friends and colleagues embrace, however reluctantly, the reality that change is forever the reward of growth. Her friends--those who worked with her in the exacting task of helping young minds to shape new concepts of self--know that all things are possible to the aspirations, the energy and courage that are thrilling in her at this beautiful mo- ment of stepping out and up.
