As wife of our former president, the late David D. Jones, Mrs. Jones came to the college in 1926. She served in various capacities including Counselor to Freshmen and Director of Admis- sions up to her retirement last June, 1964. Her qualities of understanding, friendliness and inner beauty radiated throughout the community. We talis great pride in dedicating this, the 1965 Bennett Belle, to a person we all love and respect — Mrs. Susie W. Jones.
