Professor Walker graduated cum laude from Harvard and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia. Associated with the firm of Kelley Drye 8a Warren in New York City since graduation from law school, he became a member of the firm in 1972. Professor Walker has lectured on construction financing for the Practicing Law Institute and on title problems and sales contract breaches and remedies as part of a program in basic real estate practice sponsored by the Young Lawyers Section and the Committee on Continuing Education of the New York State Bar Association. From 1966 to 1968 Professor Volckhausen served with the Asia Foundation as pro- gram officer for programs in legal development in China. He was staff attorney for Mobilization for Youth Legal Services 11962-721. Until 1979 he worked for the New York State Banking Commission, serving as deputy superintendent and general coun- sel to the commission for the last two of those years. He was a special counsel to Hughes, Hubbard and Reed before becoming executive vice president and general counsel to the Dime Savings Bank of New York. LEO WILDES g Adjunct Professor of Law. B.A., 1954, Yeshiva University, .I.D., 1957 LL.M., 1959, New York University. Senior partner of Wildes, Weinberg Sc Anfuso, a leading New York City immigration law firm, Professor Wildes is widely known for his representation of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in their celebrated immigration case. He is the former national president of the Associa- tion of Immigration and Nationality Lawyers, which he presently serves as co-chairman of its Committee on Professional Ethics and Grievances. Having published extensively in his field, Professor Wildes inaugurated Cardozo's course on immigration law.

Professor Scott-McLaughlin has been a staff attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights in New York City since his graduation from Harvard Law School in 1978. In addition to his active federal litigation docket throughout the country, Professor Scott-McLaugh- lin has lectured frequently at law schools and conferences on civil rights issues. He is a member of the National Conference of Black Lawyers, board member of the Affirmative Action Coordination Center, and coordinator of the Legal Task Force of National Anti- Klan Network. MICHAEL S. ROSS Adjunct Professor of Law. B.A., 1971, Rutgers University, J.D., 1974, New York University. Professor Ross graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rugters University, where he won over 65 intercollegiate debate awards, and was note and comment editor of the New York University Review of Law and Social Change and a member ofthe International Moot Court Team at New York University Law School. Currently a partner in the firm of LaRossa, Axenfeld 8a Mitchell, from 1974 to 1978 Professor Ross was an assistant district attorney in Kings County, and from 1978 through 1982 he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, Criminal Division. He is a member of the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, United States Attorney General's Advocacy Institute, and other state-wide trial advocacy training programs, Professor Ross is a frequent lecturer on trial practice and criminal law at various legal continuing education programs and has published a number of articles on these subjects. He currently serves as a member of the Associa- tion of the Bar ofthe City of New York's Committee on Criminal Justice Operations and Budget. CHARLES B. PDIKE Adjunct Professor of Law. B.A., 1961, Amherst College, M.A., 1964, George Washington University, LL.B., 1967, Harvard University. Professor Updike is a partner in the firm of Schoeman, Marsh, Updike Sc Welt, New York City. From 1968 to 1972 he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, and from 1972 to 1976 an associate in the firm of Debevoise, Plimpton, Lyons 84 Gates. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York's Special Committee on the Proposed Federal Criminal Code. He has been instructor in trial practice at Harvard Law School and the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Edu- cation-New England Law Institute.

B.A., 1962, Drew University: J.D.. 1969, Rutgers University. Professor Aquilino was captain of his international moot court team, which went on to place third in the United States. After graduating from Rutgers, he clerked for the Hon. John M. Can- nella. Southern District of New York. for two years. He has been with Davis Polk 84 Wardwell since 1971. Professor Aquilino is a member of the American Society of International Law. He also holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Munich and studied at Freie Universitat in Berlin. PETER L. Professor Berger majored in electrical engineering at City College, completed two years of graduate work in engineering. and went on to earn his J.D. with honors at George Washington University. where he served as patent editor of The Law Review. He has held positions as patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, patent attorney with Bell Telephone, and was a member of the adjunct faculty at Seton Hall Law School 1977 to 1983. He concentrates on civil litigation and in that capacity has represented the National Basketball Association in a variety of actions. He has also served as counsel to the New York Rangers and the World Hockey Association. He joined the firm in 1967 after serving for a year as a law clerk to Judge Edward C. McClean of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Professor Cardozo is an honors graduate of Columbia University Law School. where he was an editor of the Law Review.
