GGLDI Adjunct Professor of Law. B.A., 1957, Princeton Universityg LL.B., 1961, Yale University. Professor Goldin is Comptroller of the City of New York. From 1966 to 1973 he served as a member of the New York State Senate. At Yale Law School he was awarded the Order of the Coif and served as articles editor of the Yale Law Journal. Professor Asofsky is a Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude graduate of Columbia and a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. A member of the firm of Botein Hays Sklar and Herzberg, he has written extensively in the areas of taxation and bankruptcy. He has been active in several bar association committees and section organi- zations including the Committee on Liens, Levies, Limitations, and Bankruptcy, of which he has been vice chairman since 1981. HELAIN E BARNETT Adjunct Professor of Law. B.A. 1960, Barnard Collegeg .l.D., 1964, New York University. Professor Barnett's professional career has been devoted to the Legal Aid Society. She has been associate appellate counsel in both the Civil and Criminal Appeals Bureaus. Since 1974 she has been assistant attorney-in-charge, Civil Division. From 1976 to 1979 she served as a member of the former Committee on Grievances, Association of the Bar of the City of New York. From 1980 to 1983 she served on the Committee on Professional and Judicial Ethics, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and is currently a member of the Judiciary Committee. He is a former chairman of the American Association of Publishers, currently serves on a number of boards, and is a member of the Library of Congress Center for the Book Executive Committee. After graduation from the University of Chicago School of Law, Professor Levy served as law clerk to Judge Wade H. McCree, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He then worked as Special Assistant to the Solicitor General of the United States. For the past five years he has been an attorney at the Public Citizen Litigation Group, a Washington D.C. public interest law firm founded by Ralph Nader.
