A leading young historian, he is studing the emergence of, and changes in, state and local property taxes. RICHARD D. HOBBET Professor of Law. BA., I949, J.D., l95l, University of Iowa. Professor Hobbet taught personal income tax and corporate tax law at Duke University School of Law from i968 to l975, and during l975 he was a visiting professor at University of Florida College of law. While a student at University of Iowa Law School, Professor Hobbet was editor-in-chief of the Iowa Law Review. Professor Meriwether served as article and book review editor of the Yale Law Journal.
