Professor Wildes is widely known for his representation of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in their celebrated immigration case. He is the former national president of the Association of Immigration and Nationality Lawyers. which he presently serves as co- chairman of its Committee on Professional Ethics and Grievances. Having published extensively in his field. Professor Wildes inaugurated Cardozo's course on immigration law.
