Leadership Class With the advent of the 1970-71 school term, the leader- ship class was incorporated into the curriculum. The class run by Mr. Barry Oster is a forum where both faculty and students discuss problems which they consider critical to the operation of the school. Through the discussion of these problems it is hoped that programs will be initiated to alleviate them. The leadership class has established a sophomore for- um, whereby students on late session may for the first time have a voice in the operation of the school. Discussions per- ll I taining to curriculum have also been initiated. Students of the leadership class have met with chairmen and teachers of the various departments to voice the ideas and complaints about the curriculum, as well as possible solutions to their complaints. It is hoped that one of the ramifications of these meetings will be a more imagi- native curriculum for the 1971-72 school term. Mr. Oster hopes that the leadership class will stimulate increased commu- nications between the student body the faculty and the community in or- der to create the atmosphere of coop- eration necessary to ameliorate our problems. As a result of the creation of the leadership class, the onus of re- sponsibility in initiating change now rests with the students.
