In Memoriam Last year, Steve Beck, a senior at Cardozo High School passed away. A member of the basketball team for two years, and a member of the baseball team for three years until his untimely death, he always gave one hundred percent. He was a dedicated young man whether he was on the basketball court, the baseball field or in school. His presence and efforts were a boost to his teammates morale. Always striving to improve himself, he re- ceived the greatest respect and admiration from his colleagues and coaches. Most of all, Steve Beck was a considerate and warm hu- man being.
