Faculty and Administration Is long as man has existed on earth, he has looked to the stars for inspiration and hope in appreciation of their beauty, in wonder at their size, and in curiosity about the forces that guide the universe. Now, man is preparing to explore his solar system. Its possibilities are just coming within his reach of understanding, while those of other parts of our galaxy are yet scarcely imaginable.
