dedication The World’s Fair is the symbol of the progress achieved by men in ell fields during the lest forty years. Progress itself is perpetual! When the nebulas, the galaxies, and the universe were created, Progress then originated. Man is the child of Progress. Therefore, we, the class of June '33, dedicate our book to the Spirit of Progress.

foreword The Chicago World s Fair of 1933 was chosen as the theme of our book, because it is contemporary to The Key. In future years, the fondest memories of Benjamin Franklin High School will be recalled by associating the date of our graduation with an event of world wide importance. Just as the Fair is the exposition of man’s past achieve- ments, may the class of June 33 be the fount of future s progress.
