He also ex- ., pects to be happily married. Favorite hobby is music. Watsy was active in varsity football, Drama- tic Club, Dancing Club, Student Court, and Student Council. CHARLES I. T. BLACKWELI. FOURTH CLASS CARLOS 905 NORTH ALDER STREET John Hancock School Auto Mechanics Joe will enter college to be chief airplane mechanic. Favorite sports are swimming, football, tennis, track, baseball, and boxing. He was on the Student Patrol for eight terms, on the track team for two terms, re- ceived Barnwell Awards, was ct member of the Negro Culture Club, Library Staff, Safe Drivers' Club, Cross-Country 'Team, Student Court, and Record Book Staff. EARL V. BLOUNT FIFTH CLASS DUCKY 1339 FITZWATER STREET Bartlett Iunior High School Commercial Ducky's hobbies are writing stories and plays, but the thing he likes best is sleeping. BRUNNER MILTON BENNETT FIFTH CLASS 1515 SAMBERT STREET Barrett Junior High School Auto Mechanics Bennett was the fellow who always made us happy when he sang, for he had one of the best voices in the school. His hobby is singing, and Brunner wants to enter business after graduation. CLAUDE HAROLD BENTON FOURTH CLASS 1724 IUDSON STREET Kelley School Mechanical Arts Claude's hobbies are stamp collecting and interest- ing trinkets. Among his school activities were direc- tor of Student Patrol, book president, and Student Council member. He intends to be ct machinist. EDWARD J- BENVENUTO FIFTH CLASS BEN 608 SOUTH NINTH STREET Bartlett Junior High School Auto Mechanics Whenever you heard any symphonic music you were sure to see Ben. He was a whiz in Mr. Mur- phy's Music Appreciation Class. He plans to enter business after graduation. His hobbies include many of the fine arts. MICHAEL BICKEL FIFTH CLASS BICK 303 BUTTONWOOD STREET Kearny Grammar School Auto Mechanics After Bick graduates he is going into business. ALEXANDER BOBOWITZ FIFTH CLASS AL 627 NORTH SIXTH STREET Mechanic Arts Al is another one of those fellows who don't kick about doing too much work. He's one of the best friends a fellow could have. His hobby is collect- ing stumps. His aim in life is to become an engin- eer of great note. AARON BRINT FOURTH CLASS OCHIE 1217 W. GIRARD AVENUE John Hancock School Ochie expects to go to college after graduation. His life ambition is to raise and support a family. He is c: stamp collector, theatre goer, and likes sports as a hobby. He was a member of the Iunto staff and French Club.
