Lellue, Bulldogs l-lave Up, Down ON THANKSCIVINC DAY, 1957, when our Bulldogs dressed for that muddy game with the Heitz l'anthers, the seniors were dressing for the last game they would ever play for the searlet and grey. As they dressed for that final game, many were thinking hack to when they first came to Enlow Field. Many of them had started playing for Bosse as Cubs when they were in the seventh grade. Now, here they were, elimaxing four rugged, hard, hut wonderful years on the Bulldog gridiron. They had spent these years with the same group of hoys learning good sportsnumship, and learning to aeeept the defeats with the vietories. Even though our senior hoys were not on a eity championship squad, they had played on squads that had won eity, and they knew that even though they did not Win the ehampionship, they were still playing on a championship club. Our hoys never gave up, even when the odds were so great that it seemed a waste of time to field a team.
