eop le YES, BOSSE BURST HER SEAMS this year as 2,150 students pushed their ways through the halls, inched their ways up the one-way stairs. and elbowed their ways into the cafeteria. The class rooms and even the auditorium, could not house all of Bosses charges, To accommodate the increasing population, a new system of schedules was devised, Although it was diffi- cult at first. the eight period day with its early and late shifts proved itself in the long run. Witli the early shift rushing to class at 7:30 A.M. and leaving at 2:50 RM. and the late shift arriving and leaving an hour later, Bosse looked much like a factory. Freshmen dreamed of the assemblies as they sat in their homerooms. Due to their large class, they were unable to attend. But this was advantageous, for it gave the frosh a badly needed study hall.
