ag-v llt IMGHZOIMGIM We, the class of 1951, wish to dedicate this Senior Edition to Ierry King Margedant, our fellow classmate who passed from this life on May 13, 1951. - jerry was known as a boy full of joyful living, full of unceasing energy and blessed with a co-operative spirit that made him the leader he was. It was this spirit, which he possessed, that made him such an active participant in the activities of the Hi-Y, the Pep Club, orchestra, Senior Talent Day and swimming. Every student or teacher who came in contact with Ierry's friend- ly smile felt some small portion of his radiant personality. He had that something which many people strive a lifetime to gain, the ability to make friends. I cannot say, and I will not say That he is dead. He is just away. NVitl1 a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand, He has wandered into an unknown land. And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be since he lingers there. And you - O you, who with wildest yeam For his old-time step and the glad return- Think of him faring on, as dear In the love of there as the love of here, Think of him still as the same, I say, He is not dead - he is just awayli' 8 1 111 I
