BROTHER L. DOMINIC, ASSISTANT PRINCIP Brother Dominic has many duties as Assistant Principal. His work starts long before our school year begins. While the students are basking in the sun, Brother is preparing their schedules for the school year. His numerous duties include making out teachers' schedules, arranging scholarships and preparing all student records. He is dedicated to his task of counseling and guiding the students through difficult years, with the aim of turning out graduates of high moral principles and good academic ratings. The student body is grateful to Brother L. Dominic, who takes a great part in making Benilde the type of school that we will always be proud to call our alma mater. Pago 16

MORAL GUIDANCE FATHER KNAPP Father Knapp is well known to all as our spiritual counselor. A Jesuit priest, he came to Benilde only two years ago. In this short time, he has shown himself to be a friend to all students. The 1959 retreat, which he conducted for the juniors and seniors, was merely another example of the invaluable spiritual aid he has given to Benilde students. The '60 Benilden salutes Father Knapp and hopes that God will assist him in his future endeavors. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT BROTHER LOUIS Brother Louis, who was assigned as business manager during the first semester, is familiar to all Benilde students. A former St. Paulite, he credits his vocation to his two uncles, Brothers Louis Gerard and Alphonsus, both Christian Brothers. At St. Mary's College, his alma mater, he took courses in accounting and automotive mechanics while acting as the bus driver. He finds that a brother's life never has a dull moment. As Benilde's business manager, he has a vast amount of work to do: collecting tuition, entering debts and assets in the ledgers, and paying bills. Spectator sports rank high among his favorite recreations. Pago 17
