Brother Leo Raymond DEDICATION The senior class of Benilde also dedicates the I960 Benilden to Brother Leo Raymond, who. this year, celebrated his twenty-fifth anniversary as a Christian Brother. After receiving his bachelor of science degree from St. Mary's College in 1938. Brother has taught chemistry, physics, and higher mathematics. He has taught in many cities of the Midwest, including St. Louis. Duluth, and Minneapolis. Brother Leo Raymond's ability to enliven his classes with a quick and appropriate pun makes him well liked by the student body. A licensed amateur radio operator, he enjoys working with electronic equipment and is frequently occupied with the task of keeping the school's electric apparatus in good working order. The sport which Brother most enjoys is golf. As coach of Benilde’s golf team, lie is a proficient teacher of this ever-growing sport. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Brother Leo Raymond for the twenty-five years of his life which he has so willingly given to the education of Catholic youth. We wish him continued success in his life's work.
