The society planned many activities including a trip to Spanish-Mexican restaurants. In the second year of the union of the Math and Science Clubs, several successful projects were undertaken. Under the leadership of Secretary Jenny Rissky, Vice-President Debbie Mazil, and President Tom LeComp- te, and the apt moderation of Mr. Szorc, the club studied items of in- terest to the members. One of the projects was a measure- ment of student reaction times under stress. Another was concerned with the physics of locomotives and air- planes. The club also prepared for the annual MAA mathematics exam. The year was one of the most memorable.
