Intramurals Expanded This year the intramural program has expanded greatly with increased participation. Starting out the season in October, Mr. Rychtarik led sixteen student teams and two faculty teams to the Lisle Bowling Alley. The teams participated in the Handicap League and bowled every Friday af- ter school. The competition con- tinued into April. Over Christmas vacation intramu- ral basketball exploded into action. The thirty-three boys ' teams and thir- teen girls ' teams played eight games. Each then participated in the play- offs. The faculty team challenged the all-star Jr. Sr. boys ' team to close the season. The agenda was further expanded to include co-ed volleyball, softball, girls ' cross country and special one- day events including badminton and ping-pong.
