Indi- viduals made excellent showings at these meets as Berry took 1 st place in conference, Feldman 3rd, freshman Dominic Camden 4th, and Trimber- ger 5th. At district, Gallaher, Cam- den and Berry placed 2nd, and 4th respectively. Home course for both varsity and frosh-soph team was Woodridge and frosh-soph com- pleted a 5-1 conference season, plac- ing 2nd in the conference meet. Each day the 1981 Girls ' Swim Team trudged over to the Illinois Be- nedictine College pool to practice for what resulted in a successful season. The team ' s coach, Mrs. Toni Baum- gartner, found the year ' s members the strongest seen in years. Junior Beth Kelliher, a 50 yard freestyler, competed in the state meet and placed 16th out of the 40 girls in her event.
