In his 18th year as principal of the Academy, Father Ronald Rigovsky, O.S.B. continued to lead the faculty and administration by setting annual goals and objectives for the Benet community. Father Ron has traditionally stimu- lated a family atmosphere by announcing a theme or slogan which spurs on an enthusiastic response at religious, social, and athletic activi- ties. On a regular basis Father Ron meets formally and informally to dis- cuss, encourage, and communicate with faculty and staff members. His presence and support is evident at all religious and sports events, drama and music productions, assemblies and award presentations. Ably assisting Father Ron in his duties as Assistant Principal is Fr. Hugh Anderson, O.S.B. Father Hugh helps in the daily operation of the academic program at Benet, stu- dent admissions, the maintaining of academic records, and the coordina- tion of faculty assignments in coop- eration with the department chairmen. The important task of assigning and guiding the monks and sisters to staff and to teach at Benet Academy rests in the hands of the Rt. Rev. Valentine Skluzacek, O.S.B., Chan- cellor of the Academy and Abbot of St. Procopius Abbey, and Sister Charl otte Vesely, O.S.B., Prioress of Sacred Heart Convent.
