tt 4 5 Cadets Whip Wolverines The Cadets remained undefeated in the region with a 28-6 victory over Tompkins, and upped their overall record to 4-2. The Cadet offense was impressive tallying 275 yards total offense with four touchdowns on the ground. Richard Lutz scored three touchdowns with John Deloach adding another. The defense accounted for 4 turnovers with Jesse Fox picking off 1 pass and recovering a fumble and Leo Sheehan adding another interception. The Cadets were led by captains Scott Ellis and Chris Johnson. Outstanding play was turned in by Richard Lutz and the entire offensive line while Jesse Fox and Leo Sheehan led the defense.

Cadets Impound Bulldogs The Cadets improved their record to 3-2 and 1-0 in the region with a 28-13 slashing of the Beach Bulldogs. The Cadets rolled up 265 yardstotal offense and 3 TD's, while the defense added a touchdown which resulted from a Bulldog turnover. The Cadets first score came on a 1 yard run by Chris Tilton. The other two offensive scores came on 2 TD passes from quarterback Richard Lutzto Larry O'Hayer and Brian Watson. The defense caused four turnovers highlighted by a fumble recovery in the end zone by Jack Aleshire. As a whole the Cadets took another step forward in reaching their team goal of making the playoffs. The Cadets were led by captains Todd Robinson and Bill Hussey. Outstanding playwas turned in by Scott Ellis, Barry Downs, Larry O'Hayer, Brian Watson, and Peter Brennan. The M.V.P. of the game was Scott Ellis. 88

Pirates Sink Cadets The Cadets suffered another disappointing loss as their hopes. for a sub-region title diminished. The Pirates came away with a 12-7 victory that dropped the Cadets record to 2-1 in the region and 4-3 overall. The Pirates scored both touchdowns asaresult oftwo Cadet turnovers.Their defense also held the Cadets on two crucial fourth down attempts. The Cadets managed only 176 total yards on offense while the defense held the Pirates to a little over a hundred yards total offense. The only score for the Cadets came on a 32 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Richard Lutz to Peter Brennan in the second quarter. Captains for the game were Jesse Fox and Brian Anderson.
