Silver Jubilarian Like any other organization, Benedictine hos its unsung heroes: the men who labor unselfishly to maintain Bened ctinc's physcol development and spiritual atmosphere. Such a man is Brothor Aloysius A. Stefko, O.S.B. On June 29 the Right Reverend Abbot Theodore G. Kcjis, OSB, will offer a solemn high pontifical Moss in Saint Benedict church to mark Brothor Aloysius' slver anniversory as a monk in the order of Saint Benedict. It's an honor to give him speciol recognition that he so rightly deserves in the 1963 Benedictine. May His Soul Rest in Peace . . . The death of B'Othcr Nicholas S Pekar, O S B., Nov. 16. 1962, wos for Benedictine and Sainr Andrew abbey the loss of a dedicated servant. Throughout more than 50 years in the Order of Saint Benc-d ef Brother Nicholas executed his vows of poverty, chastity, obedience, stability and conversion of morals as a true religious, setting an example fo- his fellow monks and the student body As Benedictine loses its first golden jubilarian, his presence will be sorely missed, for he was truly a man of humility, generosity and charity May he rest in peace!
