right direction The Benedictine faculty is primarily com- posed of priests and Brothers of the Order of Saint Benedict who are members of Saint Andrew's Abbey in Cleveland. The teaching staff also in- cludes laymen. These dedicated men aim at the development of the Whole person. They carry on their educa- tional and scholarly endeavors on the assumption that Benedictine must put first, last and strongest emphasis on the things of the mind, that the value of Benedictine is largely determined by the con- tinuance in its graduates of intellectual and spiritual enthusiasms.
