Kojis, O.S.B., who with this term completes 13 consecutive scholas- tic years as school head. This year we especially congratulate Abbot Theodore, who on April 16 cele- brated his Hftieth birthday. We pray that he may continue to head Benedictine for many years to come. Under Father Abbot Benedictine is experiencing extraordinary academic growth. The academic development which the President is fostering is evidenced by the new curricula which have been estab- lished, identifying strongly the school as a college preparatory institution. Father Abbot's aim is to improve the intellectual quality of the Benedictine stu- dent, and to adequately equip him for the demands of the world and to do God's will. PRESIDE The President plays a very important part in personality development. HEADING the school's administra- tion for his second straight academic year as principal is the Rev. Father Robert R. Willies, O.S.B. He is assisted by the Rev. Father Basil A. Hrin, O.S.B., assistant princi- pal and disciplinarian, the Rev. Father Sylvester A. Prisc, O.S.B., treasurer, the Rev. Father Jerome M. Koval, O.S.B., chaplain, and the Venerable Brother Bede Pace, O.S.B., registrar. Theirs is the task to promote and direct the intellectual, spiritual and temporal advancement of Benedictine students.
