Principal Aiding Benedictine to gain the prestige it now enjoys in the educational field has been the dream of Father Benedict, school principal. Through his leadership and progressive ideas, he has seen this dream come to its fulfillment. Despite numerous executive duties, his office door is always open to a student seeking advice. Father Jerome, assistant principal. relieves Father Benedict of a portion of his administrative tasks. In addition to his teaching assignments, Father Jerome checks absenteeism and assists with the general office routine. THE REV. ,IEROIVIE KOVAL, O.S.B. SCIIIILASTICS God willing, some day these boys may be priests or brothers as diocesan clergy or members of religious communities. They are called minor seminariansg nevertheless, they are still ordinary boys. Their school days are similar to those of the average high school student. Motivation is the ideal that makes the difference in their liv'es. They desire to learn how to do things for God. In their lives they pray, study, and recreate for the love of God. This special training is necessary in order to prepare them for their vocation. They desire to follow in the footsteps of Christ by dedicating their lives to God. fri.. .f-Iv. Without the leadership whic.h has been displayed by our officers, this class, as a functioning body, could not have succeeded so well. Working together for the good of the class has been the common objective which they have met and attained capably. In order that every senior have a voice in the activities of his class and be informed of the decisions reached, the Executive Committee was adopted. The young men comprising this organization have an obligation to pass on to their classmates all the information discussed at their board meetings. To them, as aides of the ofhcers, was left the arrangement and material- gy I ization of senior affairs.
