Jllodcrafor Recognizing their responsibility as the 25th graduating class of BENEDICTINE High School, the class of ,55 presented a creditable. record for future years. After a spirited campaign, under the supervi- sion of Fr. Cyril A. Novotny O.S.B., their class moderator, officers were elected in the very first weeks of school. Under their leadership a pro- gressive program of student a tivities was in- augurated. On Nov. 27, with Ray Stone's Orchestra pro- viding the music, the Senior Class and their friends enjoyed a well planned Fall Frolic in the school gymnasium. Highlighting the winter sea- son, the class sponsored a semiformal Christmas Ball in the Tudor Room of the Tudor Arms Hotel on December 28, 1954. Especially memorable during the evening were the green and red dance programs, keeping in the Christmas spirit, as well as the punch which was served. With the Aztecs and the 4A Boosters Senior Clubs leading the Way class members actively participated in all the school activities. They sponsored the Massillon Football Rally and the Holy Name Singers.
