Highlighting these affairs was the student retreat, held in january as well as the daily Mass. Confessions were heard every morning and throughout the day on Thursdays before First Fridays. 1.1 'R

Whirling around a skating rink on eight wheels, moving on three hundred and twenty ball bearings, is the way the Whirlo members get their thrills and spills, and burn up their excessive energies. Sponsoring skating parties during the school year is ir-Io the main feature on the program of this club, and they usually provide the students with two or three of these gay festivities during the year. Benedictine is kept clean only through the efforts of these boys, who stay after school each day to sweep the classrooms and the halls. For this hard effort on their part, I 5 a certain portion of their tuition is deducted by the school.
