Cla s P opfzecy May 23 1971 Dear Diary We THE CLASS OF 1955 had the most wonderfw.and inter eating experience today' Alice Cuda had a reunion dinner for the members of our dass Alice is living in a f1D1ng station at Bradshaw She and her husband seem to be doing very well in their filling station business Barbara Doak reported that she was happily married and had settled down to a quiet life in Stromsburg Eldon Heiden isa very famous chef and has a Job at the Waldorf Astoria in New York He said that he got the inspl ration from a cook book that he won at a carnival in high school Joan Helden has taken up horse racing Her lucky number is l3 but she hasn't won a race yet Merle Helden has a five acre farm near Thayer, and says that if keeps him pretty busy Ue were all very surprised to learn that Merle is still a bachelor Bob Heitman flew in from Detroit this morning He owns and manages his own business He manuxactures hopped up Model A's Stuart Nelson and Charlie Miller drove in this morning from New York Stuart is Janitor of tm.Emp1re State Building and Charlie is the chief executive of the building He said that now he could boss Stuart around to his hear-t's content Bonnie Pickrel is the head of a large radio labratory in Council Bluffs, Iowa She said that she became extremely interested in radio when she was in high school Dave Saas and Dick Smith are working in a night club in Las Vegas Dick sings and David has been doing the Mambo and Jethroe some competition Phyllis Taylor lives in Lincoln She has been married now for ten years She has now started a business enterprise there She is running a day nursery for dogs She said that she found that this was a lot easier than taking care of six children Susan Taylor flew 1n this morning by Trans World Air Lines to jointhe class She has been a stewardess for twelve years Susan said she became a stewardess because in high school she was always up in the air Merrill Halkup finaly showed up in time for dinner His reason for being late was that he was busy practlshg his act for the coming cheus season The past few years he has prac ficed a new daring act atop a flagpole He can now balance himself on his nose He said that he became interested in the act walle replacing a rope on the flagpole back in high school we were very happy to find all the members of our class successful and enjoying life Merrill Nglkup, Dpve Saas, and Bob Heitman l 1 s ' , .
