Lf DS KdJPHEx, K Several years after graduating from dear old B H B I fell heir to a huge fortune I couldn't find a use for all my money, so I cided to take a trip around the world and visit all my old class mates I sailed from New York aboard the Queen Mary Who should I find as the captain of the ship but Dale Behnken I asked him how he has pened to become s ship caotain and he said that he had so much fun acting in the play 'Submerged,l he decided he would follow the sea as his life work I guess the drink went to his head On my arrival in England I had to have some way to get around so I looked up the General Motors Company and who should I find but John Heser the London manager for the General Motors Company I bought a new Cadillac and continued on my travels By this time it was tea time, so I went to a restaurant to have tea, and to my surprise I found Leola Pohl was the owner of the most luxurious restaurant in England While we were chatting and drinking tea she told me of another class mate, Twvla Van Nostrand, who had Just opened a new fashion shoe in Paris While visiting Twyla at her fashion shop she told me that Evelyn Doak had taken a trio to Africa about a year before and hadn't returned as yet I decided to go to Africa to see Evie so I left early the next morning for the Congo When the party I was with arrived at the shore we were welcomed by a grouo of natives who took me to a small cabin Evelyn the Queen of the Congo Next I traveled to Iceland and who should I find there but the member of our class who did not like to work I asked Cliff what on earth he was doing in Iceland, because I knew he had never enjoyed cold weather His reoly was that since he did not like to work he had come to Iceland hoping to find gold He was honing to strike it rich so that he would not have to work After learning all the nal I could from Cliff I traveled to Poland as I had heard they had horse races there, and I enjoy all kinds of soorts so I thought I would spend a couole of days at the race tracks Upon arriving at the race track I went directly to my box seat and to my amazement Adeline Sacksckewsky was in the seat next to mine I began talking to her and found out that she had a great string of race horses As it happened she was racing her best horse that day and he won by a nose As the races were over for the season Adeline decided she would take a vacation and travel with me and to return to the United States when I did, she was to attend a meeting of racing executives in the United States anyway Not knowing where to find anymore of our class mates we decided to go to Spain and take in a few bull fights Outside the Arena where the most famous bullflghters hold their exibitions who should we meet but James Larkin He was dressed in the most unusual outfit we had ever seen I asked him what he was doing in Madrid? He said he had changed his name about three years before and had become a greet bull fighter So that afternoon we got to see one of our old class mates preform in the Arena Between fights Elaine Hinze, who had become famous in the danc ing world, presented a Spanish dancing act with her dancing oartner an Dovenbarger This dance team was already world famous as co stars in Motion Pictures We left Spain and traveled to Switzerland to watch the world skiing contest The winner of the main event of the afternoon was Alice Miller She was crowned the World's Champion Woman Skier The in high school she had planned to be a nurse, but had later decided that skiing would be more exciting I was running low on money and because Adeline was to attend a meeting in the United States soon, we decided to return to the United States Upon arriving in the United States we met Wilma Tonniges at the docks r' ,X I' fb f' N . She was just returning from service as an army nurse during the most recent war and she had just received her discharge when we got back to Benedict we found Duane married and farming on the old Emken homestead, and on which he had established all or the latest conservation oractises Virginia Cotner Leola Pohl THE SENIORS OF 'Sl' Our twelve years of school have been great They've been like a race started and won fun, Harley Dale Behnken is first in line e all think he is might fine Virginia Cotner is next on the list, She's the one whom Eugene will miss Now in line comes Evelyn Elaine Doak Her interest seems to center around York Dean Dovenbarger is one of our crew, He's a swell guy, and Duane Emken is one Eating candy in class a lot of fun too of our boys, is one of his Joys the brains of the class He never feared whether or not he would pass John Heser always has cars on his mind, He'll sive vou information on any kind Elaine Hlnze is the She's quiet, cute, and James Larkin is our In any sport he's hard beauty of us all, not very tall star athlete, to beat Alice Miller has the prettiest blond hair, She treats it with the most delicate care Leola Pohl is always hapoy and gay, What will Bruce do when she goes away? Adeline Sackschewsky has a preat deal of knowledge, She'll soon be attending Grand Island Business College Wilma Tonniges who Joined us this year, Will have many memories to treasure dear Twyla Van Nostrand, we nick named her nred ' her shoulders sets quite a brilliant head These are the Seniors of Benedict High, Ie leave you now with a final 'Goodbye' !
