Freshman get break at short initiation Nearly a quarter of the freshman class was scheduled to be initiated September 15. However, most freshmen really had nothing to worry about. The assembly was scheduled to last an hour and fifteen minutes. Half of the classes were dis- missed at 2:00, and half of them at 21154 By the time everyone got to the football field, less then halt an hour of school was left. Among the events were a 100-yard brother-sister piggyback race and a prune juice bottle-feeding for blacklisted offenders of initiation week rules. The assembly ended with a bombardment of whipped cream pies. Not on freshmen, though, as everyone expected. They were thrown at unsu- specting lay lohnson, student body president, by other seniors.
