Each year The sTudenT council is in charge of regisTraTion wiTh The help of The Teachers. The Two main proiecTs Tor This year's council were finish- ing The caTeTeria, and re-decoraTing The council room. The sTudenT council Tried To brealc The feudal barrier be- Tween Bend and Redmond by sponsoring a dance in The big gym: laTer on. Bend and Redmond each gave an exchange assembly. A large banqueT was held aT The TirsT of The year. and various oTher banqueTs were held ThroughouT The year. An inTer-council banqueT beTween Bend and Redmond was held aT The Pine Tavern on March 22. The 26Th oT March The sTudenT council presenTed anoTher dance called The Ma, Pa, and Me ParTy, which was very well liked by boTh sTudenTs and parenTs. IT proved To be one of The besT dances oT The year. Concluding iTs acTive year, The sTudenT council sponsored The STaTe Council ConvenTion here May lsT and 2nd.
