Determination, victory, and heartbreak define a season. Helmets worn with high hopes. Popcorn is courtesy of ninth grade. Snow cones drip. Pep club yells and yells and yells. Voices wore out at the Moore game. Mr. Gire is carried off the field. Cheerleaders bounce and -of-'N yell. Frisbie defeats us, ugh. Basketballs swirl through the loop. Tennis shoes wear out. Knees are skinned. Tendons are pulled. The ribbon snaps, the win- ner collapses. Track rec- ords crumble. Sportsman- ship shines through all events. . A , I l .li l 'vzfgq , 1, - wr Y I .QQ '
