There were several other dance routines, including: an Indian number, a Gypsy number, a Dogpatch number, an Irish number and many others. Several organizations participated in the Music Festival such asg the band, the orchestra, the choirs, the dance band, the majorettes, the flag corps and the Bellalres. Another spectacular this year was the pre- sentation of Ok1ahomaI The Dramatic Club and all the above organizations participated in this play. Everyone agreed that Oklahoma was the finest play ever given at Ben Davis and this was shown by the reactions of the students and the attendance at the two night performances.

Eeny, Meeny, Miney, Mo,come onteam1et's go-go-go! As these two pictures plainly show, during school and after school the students of B,D, High are a happy group of people! Who can ever forget those riotous pep sessions that brought such joy and enthusiasm to the fans and that much needed confidence to the team. A group of students are shown here supply- ing their cheers and hurrahs, while the Ben Davis pep band supplies that certain something that sparks the spirit in one of the Ben Davis songs. This year our pep band, under the direction of Mr. Gene Smith, deserves a big thank you for their fine performances of cheering our Giants on to victory at every home basketball game. This group of students waiting for their ride home is a familiar sight around Ben Davis. Many an after-school class of make-up work, club activities and meetings and Qpardon the expressiony seventh periods keep students after school many times. Let's hope these students are staying for make-up work or clubs!

Crowder, These are very familiar expressions that are heard every day in the Ben Davis Ca.feterla.The cafeteria is one ofthe most popular places at Ben Davis, especially around noon time. Above, Sandy Kinney and Patty Cottey are laughing over a private joke, while Ron Rajer, Mary McKinney,Janet Booher and Sue Lewis seem to have more serious matters to discuss. Some of the most popular people around Ben Davis are the cooks! Ben Davis has a fine staff of cheerful cooks who always seemto whip up some Grade A meals. Some people be- lieve food is the closest thing to our hearts and they may be right.
