Can we ever forget it all --- working on floats and band practices till the hours become endless , the team practicing calisthenics, and best of all the pre-game parade! And speaking of the parade, we also saw the pert Homecoming Queen, Patsy Long, leading the parade with her court: Rhoda McDaniel, senior, Sandy Allen, jtmiorg Sandy Kinney, sophomore, and Sandy Miller, freshman. On this all-important football night, the Giants met the Sacred Heart Spartans on the gridiron to win their fourth game of the season by a score of 26 to 7. During half time Patsy was escorted ontothe field with her court. Co-captains Randy McPike and Tim Mongan placed the crown on Patsy's head making her the third Homecoming Queen in Ben Davis' history, The band then saluted both schools by playing their school songs at the biggest and best Homecoming ever at Ben Davis.

'D If May I see your pass? asks Phyllis Cravens to Dale Henderson as he tends to an errand between classes. sf' ' ef' ' N.: It has often been said that top athletes are seldom top students scholastically. But Duane Wood and Bob Davis disprove this fact, as they pause for a moment outside the door of the Wayne Central Building, .wlaii we HJLLQ fime or At last! This ls perhaps what these students are thinking as they at last reach the front of the lunch line. A familiar scene in the halls of B, D, is a mon- itor guarding the halls of Ben Davis at every turn against people who cut class, or just roam the halls to find some mischief, They also serve as the wel- coming committee to guests. The rush to lunch every day is also apart of the routine of all Ben Davisites! The new cafe- teria has given a new atmosphere to the daily lunch- time. When the cafeteria line winds completely around the lunch room, the moment a student gets his tray he feels he has accomplished a great task. Students at Ben Davis enjoy many activities. School plays, dances, proms, football, basketball, and baseball games fill the calendar for Ben Davisites this year. One of the main fads leading the B.D. hit parade during the winter was the donning of senior cords on Fridays. Cartoons, names, and caricatures were painted on the corduroy skirts and trousers. Also on Fridays , the students who had earned letters wore their letter sweaters. Also Ben Davisites have indulged in the new craze of millions of American teenagers, pizza. Pizza parties have swept the country as the greatest fad. Giant fans also enjoy riding leisurely around town and having fun.
