These pupils earned 68 point out of a possible 100. They wer judged by Thespians of Troupe 2 on their speaking and pantomim ability. Those named are: Sue Austin Joyce Harris, Marjorie Pettit! N.H.S. Honors Those With Top Scholarship And Good Character Acknowledging the definite need, in this highly advanced world of ours, for high scho- lastic achievement and the recognition of such, the National Honor Society, sponsored by Miss Olive Carruthers, entered its second year at Ben Davis. Mrs. Alma Ste.iner, Mrs. Helen Poince, and Mr. Robert Seeman, assistant sponsors, helped plan the year's activities, which were high- lighted by a banquet at the Indiana University Medical Center. The Honor Hop, a dance for honor students, was sponsored by the group. A trip to Allison's Panorama, a Christmas party, and a panel discussion from the Deaf School were programs at the meetings.
