Work was cited at the end of the year and awards were reaped in a variety of subjects, from art to drama and choir to chemistry. To help the chemists, phy- sicists, doctors, engineers, and rockateers of to- morrow get a good start in their prospective fields of study, Ben Davis offers a well rounded course of science fundamentals. Courses offered include: biology, botany, chemistry, and physics. This year the biology department obtained a new laboratory. There- fore they are better able to learn the biological aspects of living matter. For the first time in B.D.'s history, the students have enough room and equipment to do dissecting. The plans for next year include a new chemistry physics lab.
