flemmim 1953 THESE WERE FAMILIAR EVERY-DAY SCENES 1 LUNCHTIME! WHAT A PLEASANT BREAK. The food in our cafeteria was something to remember - well cooved, varied and attractively served. Miss Senour, the rnanager, made our scarce 25 minutes in the cafeteria pleasant uith seasonal decorations. . . , Study halls reliefed us of atter-school pressure of NOVV. Since ue came by busses, we put in a full day at school, reqardlez: ot hon many classes we took. ...Cur library was a pleasant place, modern, filled with an amazing variety of books. There were 3,000 is ' 3 F A.jj r volumes on assorted subjects on its shelves. ln all 3 buildings, the school owned 6,000 books. This year, a new library was opened in Wayne Cen- tral. It is one of the show places in a building of beauti- ful rooms. . . . Roll room took up 'l5 minutes between the first and second period. We grew to know one another better in that time. Our busy teachers worked out our plan sheets with us, collected funds for various drives and ticket sales, and listened to our problems.

Those of us who walked past the door, enioyed seeing adults sitting at desks, looking like pupils for a change. On Tuesday, at roll room, the results of these meetings were passed on to us.
