Rooms PHYSICS Since science is a subject in which laboratory experiments are made, the classes must therefore be smaller than most, in order to have individual in- struction. Due to the increasing enroll- ment, this has become almost impos- sible. TYPING Good use is made of every type- writer in every typing class. This year, additional machines were obtained, but there is still a need for more, as none are available for makeup work or outside practice at present. SHOP Blueprint for success-intricate de- signing of bird houses, book cases, and shelves, are learned in Mr. Freundt's shop class. Result-skill in woodworking to be used as a hobby or for a later profession. 'I1

Rooms ART Mrs. Faye Nelson's informal art classes will long be remembered for their attractive dance decorations and colorful posters which were enioyed by all. This course consists of begin- ning art, crafts, and hand work and fine art. MECHANICAL DRAWING The art room is transformed into an entirely different atmosphere - from harmonious colors and cultural topics to more practical subiects-when it is taken over by students of the mechani- cal drawing class, who are preparing for careers as draftsmen. HISTORY History, a very popular subject among Ben Davis students, usually finds the class packed. Within these four walls events of thousands of years ago up to present day are reviewed by Mr. Lou Parnell. Here Mr. Parnell shows the class some vital spots on the map. I3
