SENIOR CLASS HISTORY IContinued from Page 431 Once more we elected olticers . . . this time as l0B's . . . Walter Andrews, Helen Stegemoller, Dean Toombs, and Pat Cloud. The lOA's were led by Kenny Blanck, Lorene Fine, David Henderson, and Faye Shofner. The most important part of that year was the Sophomore party. Bradley Shaw was the bride in the mock wedding . . . with Brad as a bride most anything could happen . . . and did! When September of 1948 rolled around, we entered the front doors as Jolly Juniors. As iuniors we had a big responsibility . . .The Prom. Wilbur McCormick and Veronica Pacala were elected King and Queen, Pat Cloud and Dean Toombs reigned as Princess and Prince. The 'IlB's retained their l0A officers . . .the liA's elected David Henderson, Faye Shofner, Pat Pinkston and Lorene Fine. At last! September, 1949. We were seniors! And did we brag about it! The year was all we had dreamed it would be . . . a constant whirl of activities . . . beginning with the election of Dean Toombs, Jackie Hanneman, Helen Stegemoller, and Paul Angleton as officers. The 'l2A's elected Pat Pinkston, Mary Lou Sipe, Herman Freeland, and Marlene Lang. We had our pictures taken . . . we ordered class iewelry . . . name cards . . . and announcements. Then came the prom . . . the senior play Mother ls a Freshman . . . honor day . . . class day, and commencement. Our high school days came to an end . . . ioy at facing the world . . . sorrow at leaving Ben Davis High School.
