Amid Cupid's arrows, 'young hearts' whirled through a pleasant afternoon. BLARNEY HG ........,,..... , .,..,..,..........,...,,..,r . ..,.,.,...,,.........,.......,.......,.......... March 19, 1948 A record breaking crowd of lads and lassies garbed in green, filled the Gym on St. Patrick's Day. Everyone truly lived up to the Irish tradition by having a hilarious time. U NEW SENIOR PARTY .,..,.,,....,,...,......,...............,.................................,,.... April 9, 1948 It was quite refreshing to be able to sit back and enjoy ourselves for a change while the New Seniors did all the work. They entertained us with a good show, excellent refreshments, and a fine dance. SPRING FOLLIES .,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..,,,,r,,r,,,,,,...Y,.,,,,,,,,,,,,,.,,,,.,,,...,.,.,.,,............... April 16, 1948 All who attended the Spring Follies applauded heartily. The singing, dancing and comedy made a well rounded and enjoyable program. May 2-7, 1948 As a symbol of authority and prestige the Seniors were decked out in their best bows all through the week. Hair bows, tie bows, lapel bows, bows large, bows small distinguished Seniors from the lower classmen. The per- formance was enioyed not only by the audience but also by all the participants. Each actor deserved an Oscar for his excellent per- formance. M ay 14, 1948 On this day the Seniors put on their Sunday Best and came to school eager to begin the festivities of the second most important day in their lives as Seniors. As expected everyone had a truly grand time. This day will long remain as part of our fondest memories. MOTHERS CLUB PARTY ............, , .............,.......,............,,.............,.,.......... May 18, 1948 One of the high lights of the Senior term came when the Mothers Club gave a party for the Senior Class. Everyone was in a mood to be entertained and they were in a most gala fashion. Iune 9, 1948 At last the day for which we had striven for four years came-Gradua- tion Day-a day of mixed feelings, happiness and regret. However, we shall always remember the beautiful exercises and the happy days we had at Blewett, we the last class to graduate from Ben Blewett High School. Twenty-four Miss Pfleger MISS PFLEGER The Senior Class of Iune 1948 was fortunate to have as their sponsor Miss Emma Pfleger who worked untiringly, patiently, and sincerely to make the class a success. The Iune Class will always remember their Senior term as a delightful semester of happy friendships, excel- lent cooperation, and wholesome fun.
