While thinlcinq about the dedicas tion tor the l948 Brochure, We came upon the toreqoinq quotation, written by the immortal William Shake- speare. We were at once impressed by the ease with which we could apply it to Blewett. The more we thouaht about it, the more we real- ized how much Blewett has really been a stage, a setting tor us durina the past tour years. We have had our exits and our entrances, and we have surely played many parts. W'e, therefore dedicate the l948 BRCCHURE to Blewett, the staqe upon which we have performed. She has advised and counciled us, helping us to decide our future. To her goes our undying gratitude for her guidance. BLEWETT MOTHERS CLUB Few of us realize just how much the Mothers Club has done for the benefit of the students and the school. Among a few of their activities were the party for the Seniors, a card party given last term the proceeds of which were donated to the Athletic' Department, and an entertainment for the mothers of the Fresh- men to acquaint them with the teachers and members of the club. This group is composed of mothers who have a genuine interest in a closer cooperation be- tween the pupil, the teacher, and the parent. The meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month and are followed by a social hour in which a closer relationship between the parents and teachers is brought about. The Senior Class and the entire school wish to extend their gratitude to the Mothers Club for the wonderful work they have accomplished. OFFICERS Iames Monteith ,...io.....,.v................,. These points are awarded to any girl serving as a leader, an officer, a member of a winning team, and to all having regular attendance.
