At the beginning of our Sophomore year, Allen Peterson became our President, with Donald Asel as Vice-President, Beverly Kesby as Secretary, and Joyce Swanson as Treasurer. We elected J odelle Wuertzer and Duane Aldrich to Student Council. Mr. Thompson and Miss Simpson assumed our advisership. Our Sadie Hawkins Dance and Sophomore Carnival were enjoyed by all and were both- a financial success. We again sold Christmas trees and had fum doing it. Through our Junior year we had Allen Peterson and Cecil Adams as President and Vice- President, respectively. James Dronsfield recorded the rninutesg James Kishlock handled the finances. Sonia Gamble and Donald Asel were our Student Council representatives. We were advised by Mr. Thompson and Mr. Fassett. During the year, we sold pop at basketball games and held a Sadie Hawkins Dance. The biggest event of the year was our .T unior Play, The Skeleton Walks, which was a tremendous success. We also sponsored the Junior-Senior Ban- quet, playing host to the Class of '54. On Moving-Up Day we received our longed-for class rings. Then came our busiest and most successful year as we became Seniors. Mr. Thompson and Mr. Fassett again guided us through the year. Allen Peterson governed the Class for his third successive year. We chose as our other officers: Vice-President, Cecil Adams, Secretary, Donna Close: and Treasurer, David Sack. Sonia Gamble and Donald Asel again represented us in Student Council. At Christmas weheld a Class Christmas Party and exchanged gifts, and every- one enjoyed himself. All too quickly April arrived, and we experienced a wonderful week in New York City on our Senior Trip. And now as westand together before going along our separate paths, the best and the brightest seem uppermost in our minds, and will constitute a very happy remembrance of Bemus Point High School. 13
