Quill and Scroll Shirley Sadek, Jeanne Patten, Marilyn Fluey, '-.-y.. Quill and Scroll is the honorary society of High School Journalists. It is necessary to meet various requirements to belong to this international organi- zation. The members must be in the upper third of the junior or senior class, must have at least 100 inchesof writing print in the school paper, and must have sample of his or her writing approved by the National secretary of the Quill and Scroll. The ad- visor of the Quill and Scroll is Miss Daisy Norgart.

t X Monitors Monitoring is anotherschool service job. The monitors, under Mr. Dahl, have again completed another successful school year in man- aging various important positions around the school. The monitors in the Study Hall, maintain order, check passes, and take roll. The cafeteria monitors helpinthe serving of lunches and in clean- ing up after lunches. The tunnel monitors prevent students from running to the tunnel and getting ahead in line. Thehall monitors play an important part in keeping the halls quiet and in order during and between classes. Dally. 1 'R The Future HomemakersofAmerica, a national organization,is an or- ganization which any senior high girl who has taken home economics may join. The club meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month and pro- vides opportunities for solving homelife problems, sponsors group projects, and developes leadership qualities. The club serves as waitresses for all school banquets and sponsors a school dance each year. They send dele- gates to the District FHA meeting held at the school of the district vice president, the Minneapolis State FHA convention neld in Minneapolis, and to the FHA camp on Lake Arrowhead.
