chorus sing, sing a song, sing out loud . . . . . . sing out strong. So they did. First place in IHSA contest and multiple public appearances gave the music-minded student what they wanted. Outstanding performances and outstanding individuals made the Chorus what it was. Angie Carney received the Outstanding Senior Award while Michelle Gifford was honored with the Director's Award. Tiffany Harrison was capped as the Most Improved Singer. Mrs. Karen Wilkinson directed her group with the enthusiasm and flair with which it performed. french club mardi gras tres bien On October, 3, the French Club elected Colleen O'Connor, President; Beth Cook, Vice President; and Joy Lewis, Secretory. On November 8, the French classes went to the Art Institute, Sears Tower; and they ate at a French restaurant in Chicago. At Christmas time, the French Club presented food baskets to the needy residents of Bement. Andi Shonkwiler hosted the annual Christmas Party at her home.
