first contract -teacher board agrees As a result of legislation, the Bement Education Association and the Bement Community School District begon negotiations for the unit's first contractual agreement. Many hours were spent on the part of each side's negotiating team. Items were discussed, compromised, or discarded. The agreement was finalized and voted upon by both parties.
