Life, Adventures, then Perfection Bement High School Bement, Illinois 1974-1975 TABLE OF CONTENTS Dedication ....................................... 2 History .......................................... 4 Administration ................................... 8 Athletics ........................................18 Organizations.....................................36 Activities .......................................62 Classes ..........................................76 Index.............................................95 Do you have any idea how many experiences we must have gone through before we even got the first idea that there is more to life than eating, or fighting, or power? A thousand experiences, ten thousand! And then another hundred experiences until we began to learn that there is such a thing as perfection, and another hundred again to get the idea that our purpose for living is to find that perfection and show it forth. The same rule holds for us now, of course; we choose our tomorrow through what we leam today. Learn nothing, and tomorrow is the same as today, all the same limitations and lead weights to overcome. 3 . . . paraphrased from JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL. 4 ADMINISTRATION Monthly Meetings, Daily Routine— A Small Part of Their Responsibilities The Board of Education spent many hours attending to routine matters.
