I'm gonna maul you within an inch of your rascally, good-for-nothing life or my name isn't James Conrad Mallory! Angered by Mr. Mallory's threat, Mr. Maxwell puts up his fists and Miss Murray and Aunt Mary run out screaming. The Curtain Goes Up As Betty Lou wrings her hands and Hercules shakes in his boots, Wilbur gives Molly a message: Tell Conrad we just left the country. Connie and Marvin watch as Wilbur and Hercules feel the effects of three pieces of pie, four pieces of cake, and a double-decked Da gw ood-burger, ala fried chicken, ala mode.

Under the direction of Mrs. Scholtens, Miss Sweet, and student-director Brenda Morris, the senior class presented Dear Diary. It was presented to the Grade School in a Wednesday matinee, and to the general public on both Thursday and Friday evenings. This was the first time the play had been performed on two evenings. Dear Diary was the story of the dreams of a young, imaginative, teen-age girl. Her dreams created a web of comedy and suspense, which kept the audience entertained throughout the three acts.
