Mixed Ensemble received an excellent rating at music contest which was held at Charleston this year. Not pictured is Claudette Barber. BIMETTES--STANDING, Left to Right: Cheryl Tiffin, Linda Wrench, Mary Medaris, Peggy Marker, Glo Ann Hendrix, and Carol Siders. The Bimettes received the excellent rating at High School State Music Contest. These three sang solos at contest this year. Cheryl Tiffin received a superior rating; Linda Fisher received an excellent rating; Mark Hudson received a rating of good. Sitting on the piano bench are Claudette Barber and Pat Dobson who received a second for their duet. Standing behind are Regina Thompson and Bobby Totten who also received a second for their duet. Ron Thompson, President, Claudia Medaris, Vice-President, and Wendy Taylor, Secretary provided the capable leadership for the hard working Latin Club. Sera Friends, Romans, and Countrymen Massaging backs is one of the many interesting tasks that the Latin I slaves are required to perform for their Latin II masters at the Roman Banquet. Wendy Taylor appears to be one of the more proficient slaves. This year the Latin Club took a field trip to the University of Illinois to see the Lincolrt Hall Museums. The various objects which related to the development of the European culture were interesting to the members.
