ON LADDERS: Diane Slagle, Regina Thompson, Jeanne Shepherd, Cynthia Foran. STANDING: Virginia Statzer, Kay Glennon, Pat Redman, Judi Funk and Janet Ashbrook. These librarians, under the direction of their new advisor, Mrs. Scholtens, added a new, fresh look to our library. They decorated the new bulletin board regular ly with themes of current interest. These volunteer helpers attracted the rudents attention to better reading by olorful and 'catchy' displays.

Ann Flenniken and Linda Wrench distilled molasses to make alcohol as one exhibit at open house. Dave Moore and Diane Shepherd anxiously awaited the eruption of their homemade volcano. This was one of the more unusual displays at open house. Experiment and Discover Science Club officers left to right are Diane Shepherd, Secretary-Treasurer; James Ayers, President; Mr. Warpen-burg, Advisor; Dave Marker, Vice-President. The principle aim of Science Club is to encourage future scientists and engineers. The Science Club participates in our open house by exhibiting many interesting and unusual displays. In addition to this, the club sponsored the trip to the University of Illinois Engineering Open House.
