WINTER Studying, visiting, or worrying, these juniors took advantage of the ten minute break between the eighty minute semester exams. A highlight of the winter season was the annual Christmas concert delightfully presented by the high school and grade school bands and choruses. Along with winter came snow. FALL Students learned the processes of democracy when Bement High held a mock presidential election prior to the November, 1964, national election. Along with the first day of school, came the distribution of textbooks. 1964 marked the beginning of a complete book rental system in the Bement school system. Into . . . After summer vacation, the first social event of the year was the Annual Party, where everyone received his new Bim and collected autographs galore.

SPRING An annual spring event is the FFA Parent-Son Banquet held this year on May 3. The Future Farmers recognized their award winners and crowned their Sweetheart to make the evening extra special. Juniors James Ayers and David Fisher set up a beautiful tropical waterfall, one of the favorite attractions at the Junior-Senior Prom, May 1. In the spring a young man's fancy turns to - track. The diversity of events attracted many boys, from the cinder man to the soaring pole vaulter. 7
